Cyndi Wood

studied Painting and Graphic Design at Loyola University. She was introduced to clay by Prof. Marva Jolly while earning her certificate in Secondary Art Education at Chicago State University. Professor Jolly guided her introduction and development in hand-building. Techniques in wheel throwing were developed at Parkwest Ceramics and Lill Street. Currently, she teaches Art, Graphic Design and Web Design at Saint Patrick High School while developing her ceramic aesthetic. "My art is what it is. I do this because it centers my soul and keeps me happy."
