As a teacher, I am a servant leader. I connect students with opportunities for growth, both educational and social-emotional. I coordinate the educational team, which includes, parents, counselors, tutors, disciplinary deans, and administrators, on behalf of the student for their benefit. I spend a lot of time creating opportunities for students to grow as a whole person.
I especially enjoy developing students’ problem solving and critical thinking skills through visual puzzles in art. Visual techniques and art theories are taught so that students develop fluid thinking facilitated through creative application.
